👉🏿Reports to: Aiyana Goodfellow, Executive Director.
🌍 Location: Remote – accepting UK-wide only.
📝 Contract: Freelance. Project-based. Twenty-five (25) hours spread over one (1) month.
🤑Pay: £500 fee total, which covers 25 hours total (organisational flat rate of £20ph).

About the Role 🤔

NEUROMANCERS is looking for a Graphic Designer to execute our brand refresh. Across 25 hours spread over one month, you will have the opportunity to reimagine and transform NEUROMANCERS' logo, fonts and social media templates. We are interested in bold and radical graphic design approaches that embody our values of abolition, autonomy and accessibility.

Experience:

  • Experience designing assets such as logos and social media templates for future use.

  • Experience working with grassroots movements or organisations.

  • Experience of self-directed and/or freelance graphic design work.

  • Experience working with Canva.

Responsibilities:

Executing NEUROMANCERS' brand refresh, to include:

  • A new logo

  • Refreshed fonts

  • New templates for social media

  • New templates for internal documentation.

Alongside the above, we expect all those working within NEUROMANCERS to be...

  • Self-identified as neurodivergent+

  • Organised, responsible, and reliable communicators

  • Able to navigate technology such as email, Xero, and web meetings

  • Aligned with NEUROMANCERS’ goals and values

  • Knowledgeable about non-clinical peer support practices, Disability Justice, prison, police, and psychiatric abolition, and the neurodiversity paradigm

  • Committed to anti-racism, LGBTQ+ rights, anti-speciesism, anti-ableism, and total liberation for all
